QUALITY & INSPECTION

Quality built into every stage,
not just checked at the end.

For an OEM, one out-of-tolerance part can stop an assembly line. That is why inspection at Madhav Industries starts before production and continues until the carton is sealed.

Explore our quality process

01 / CONTROL AT EVERY STAGE

Three-stage inspection system

Checks begin with incoming material, continue through production, and finish with a batch review before packing.

StageWhat we check
Incoming material inspectionGrade, thickness, surface condition and supplier certificate for every lot of raw material
In-process inspectionFirst-off approval at each setup, then periodic checks on dimensions and form during the run
Final inspectionDimensions, finish, burr-free edges and visual quality on every batch before packing

02 / CHECKING POINTS

What we inspect

01

Dimensional inspection

Diameters, lengths, thickness, hole positions and thread accuracy against the drawing.

02

Surface-finish inspection

Polish level, scratches, dents and burrs checked under proper lighting.

03

Hardness testing

In-house tester for hardened blades and parts.

04

Material verification

Mill test certificates verified for every lot; material grade validated through spectrochemical analysis.

03 / MEASUREMENT

Our inspection instruments

InstrumentUsed for
Digital vernier caliperLength, width, diameter, depth
Outside micrometerPrecise shaft diameters and thickness
Inside micrometerBore and internal diameters
Depth micrometerStep, groove and slot depths
Air gaugeHigh-accuracy, fast checking of bores and shafts
Thread gaugeThread pitch and fit
Pin gaugeHole sizes

04 / CALIBRATION

Reliable measurements start with calibrated instruments.

All measuring instruments are calibrated on a fixed schedule that is half-yearly through an accredited laboratory. Each instrument carries an ID and calibration due date, and out-of-calibration instruments are removed from use.

05

Traceability

Every batch can be traced back to its raw-material lot, production date and inspection record. If a question ever arises, we can find the answer.

06

Non-conforming parts

Non-conforming material is immediately segregated into a designated area, documented for traceability, and strictly controlled to prevent unintended use or mixing with conforming stock.
